Vancouver-based artist Kaleah Lee has dropped her new single, ‘Rotting Fruit’. It’s an intimate track that allows listeners to really get to know her simultaneously somber and uplifting sound. She delivers gentle, heartfelt lyrics in a distinctively hushed, airy voice, underpinned by the distant ring of picked guitar. She explains that the track was “emotionally liberating to write. Navigating through my beliefs, disbeliefs, and who I feel I am at my core has been challenging, but more importantly it’s been a very freeing process.
